Selah ships with public-domain translations — the King James Version free for everyone, and the World English Bible with Premium — both with audio narration recorded for every chapter. The first chapter of every book is free to listen to; Premium unlocks the rest.
Is my journal really private?
Yes. Prayers, reflections, notes and highlights are private by default. Sharing is always an explicit choice, per entry, and you can delete your account and all of its data from Settings at any time.
Do I need an account?
You can start as a guest and keep everything on your device. Signing in with Apple, Google or email syncs your reading, notes and streaks across devices.
Does it work offline?
The reader, your journals, prayers, the Rosary, novenas and daily readings all work offline once they've loaded. Audio narration and the AI study companion need a connection.
What happens if I break my streak?
Nothing punitive. Every 30 days you earn a grace day — up to five saved — and one is spent automatically to cover a missed day. No red, no shaming copy, just an invitation back.
Is there a leaderboard?
No, and there never will be. Groups show encouragement — “Sarah finished today's reading” — with no scores, ranks or comparisons anywhere in the app.
